Bill has been a managing director with The Bensman Group since 1995. His specialty and primary focus is managing The Bensman Group's Employee and Corporate Benefits Planning practice division. Before joining The Bensman Group, he was an account executive for five years with Mack & Parker, a nationally recognized insurance brokerage firm.
Bill and his team are distinguished by their ability to bring customized solutions as well as high levels of expertise and service to middle-market organizations (including senior management) with 10 to 1,000 employees. Their focus is on organizations whose most valuable assets are their employees, such as financial institutions, accounting and law firms, and technology and health care companies.
In addition, Bill is an expert in the following programs including:
- Group Insurance (i.e. life, health and disability),
- Voluntary payroll deduction coverages (i.e. life, AD&D)
- Executive benefits (i.e. life and disability)
- Non-traditional portable executive benefit plans
He is a member of The National association of Health Underwriters and a principal of NFP Benefits.
Bill earned his B.A. in Personnel Administration from Kansas University.
Bill resides in Highland Park, Illinois with his wife Wendy and their three children. He enjoys gardening, exercising and spending time with his family.
