Kristen joined Bensman Risk Management in 2007 as a Risk Management Advisor. Bensman Risk Management specializes in the unique personal insurance and risk management needs of affluent individuals. These special needs include high-valued homes, collectibles, fine art, jewelry, automobiles, multiple residences, domestic worker’s compensation insurance and high limits of excess liability coverage.
Since 1992, Kristen has served the property and casualty insurance needs of clients. In addition to her expertise in property and casualty insurance, Kristen has developed a unique specialty partnering with residential real estate professionals, designing insurance programs to help to fulfill their clients’ needs.
In 2013 Kristen was promoted to Director of the Personal Lines Property and Casualty Department. She is responsible for overall departmental procedures related to client relationships and staff supervision.

Education, Designations, Licenses, and Organizations
Kristen graduated from Michigan State University, Lansing, Michigan and earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Security Management.
Kristen earned her Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance (CAPI) designation from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2015 by completing an advanced study program focusing on high net worth individuals.
Kristen lives in Mundelein, IL with her two sons and is a retired member of The Chicago Outfit roller derby league. She also enjoys running and cooking in her spare time.
